What if theres a peson that is confusing in a shop, then you and the your friend are staying house and you guys heard the confusing person from someone. and you see the your friend did good things so you can say "私はあなたを信頼している、だからその人を助けて来い" to the your friend.

The difference between those 2 is vague. I checked some Japanese forums talking about this issue. But everyone is saying something different.

その人にしか解決できない事件があり、その事件を解決して欲しいからその人にその事を言うときに”信頼する”が使える
