Are you sure about your claim? Just like I have not seen an atomic particle with my own eyes, I have read accounts of other people (scientists) having done so, and draw the conclusion from what I read as "evidence" that they exist. Likewise, I have read the Bible, Book of Mormon, and Doctrine & Covenants where it is recorded that others have seen Jesus Christ. Accordingly, I draw the conclusion from these other "testaments of others" that Jesus Christ exists.
But that is not all. I have personal evidence from my own experience that he does live. I can make such a statement as, just like any other scientist, I have consluded from my own observations involving sight, sound, and touch---my own senses, that he exists.
Just as plausible as invisible emotions, judgment, justice, anything in the String Theory...
There is "evidence" for "God" the problem is that god has never been explained in a practical scientific manner. Prove "justice" you can't cause its an idea. As soon as it is defined it becomes testable, if you are not defining gods then don't say they don't exist. You are say a word does not exist.
Unicorns do not exist.
What is unicorns are horses with horns taped to their head, then all of a sudden its believable!
I do not think that the common Christian God exists, but that is a very limited example of the unknown realm of forces and energy.
Look around you at the animals of the earth and the whole universe, it's like a work of art, and you can't have such a complex and well balanced universe without some creator; it's pure logic. The way that animals such as the salmon go to the exact spot to where they were born, or how monarchs can migrate to the exact same tree of where they born. If our world just came about with no creator, our world would be messed up. It's like if you compare a glob of paint being thrown onto apiece of paper, there's no order, to an artist painting a picture, it has order, as does our universe.
The cloth that Christ was wrapped in was found. The Bible states that Christ was resurrected and His body went to heaven, there is no skeleton to this day to be found.
Every thought that exists is a delusion. Whether your indoctrinated by science or by religion isn't the question. The question is what do you want to believe in? Love or hate? It is your choice. ;-)

What’s wrong with saying, 'all religions are based on delusions?'
--It's a generalization, which is thus fallacious?
It’s not like they’ve got any evidence and claims about invisible gods
are just plausible as claims about invisible leprechauns, right?
--Half right.

There is evidence.

What's wrong? Well, for one, your assertion is simply untrue.
There's plenty to dispute in religious belief, but also much to admire in the contributions and intent of decent, loving religious people.
Most importantly, none of us really knows the truth. Religion is one of many avenues whereby people seek to understand the world around them.
Every thought that exists is a delusion. Whether your indoctrinated by science or by religion isn't the question. The question is what do you want to believe in? Love or hate? It is your choice. ;-)
"What’s wrong with saying, “All religions are based on delusions”?"
ONE thing...
All religions are based on at least ONE delusion...
That at least ONE invisible space chappie exists.
~
Nothing wrong. But you could get stabbed by an insecure religious fanatic.
The offending word is "all". There is more evidence than you think, if you'd honestly check into them.
Don't be so hasty about those leprechauns now. I was pretty convinced by this argument:
