The odds of any religious sect being correct are basically zero, especially when you consider the infinite possible variations.
Its the specific things they claim that really hammer this point home. Why would a god care if you at pork, or if a woman shows off her face without a veil?
While that's certainly a valid point, I think the more obvious indicators that all religions are wrong is that they're all implausible to a ridiculous extreme and none of them have any legitimate evidence at all to back them up. The particulars of the religions themselves are largely irrelevant.
my friend , religions are correct , most r , in differnt perspective.
in other words if u have a puzzle pieces u will see tem differently ,but when u put them all in place , all will make sense and 1 picture (god will appear) .
if u want details:different religions existed in diferent times,and addressed the problems of that time)
when people started doing evil deeds in the name of god , god sent his messenger eg Jesus or prof et Mohammed or Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji (Sikhism) who did all the things a messenger did- protected the poor people from the tyrant emperor etc. and showed them the path of worship which leads towards god. also note they also did a very important another thing which is clear our doubts about god(as we are not connected to god but they are/and were) .
in Sikhism it is said that a person must only pray to 1 god only who is creator of all.(including the entire universe too)
in Sikh holy book a person can find answers too all his troubles,doubts about god,creation of universe etc
we are to cast aside religion for a personal relationship with the living christ. receiving the offer of life 1john chapter 5; verses 11 through 13 read it.
Christianity claims it's different from all the others, but upon closer inspection it's just another solar mythology astrological shamanic alchemical metaphor like numerous other belief systems that existed way before it.
You are correct. Anyone sooo pathetically stupid as to think any one religion is 100% true without being told so directly from God is a total failure. If there is a single one true religion, God should reveal it to him directly.
religion is man made bullshit created to keep people with sheep like mentality in line.... what better way to control the ignorant masses then to tell them an invisible sky bully will smite you if you misbehave or think independently.

I think it's a little unusual how cultures can change so much but all have some sort of religion that keeps the idea of an afterlife and a god.
