How in the hell are you going to have a democracy if you exclude the religious sector? So, your definition of democracy is based on excluding everyone you deem not important, or who's views differ from yours? That's just freakish. Personally, I think everything would work better if people who couldn't entertain a thought of their own couldn't vote.

I'd frankly rather use an IQ test to decide who can vote (and this would probably eliminate a large number of religious fanatics anyway), but then that wouldn't be a democracy, and it wouldn't conform to the laws set out in our Constitution.

I believe that this country was bound and set by christian believers but the were old testamnet believer, harsh even by todays christian beliefs. But once as a country there were seperation of church and state it should stay that way. christians believe that the bible is more powerful thatn the contstitution, but overall it is merely a fictitous collection of religous propaganda, the country would do better without christianity invading the government. or any religion for that matter.
