Actually for Catholics, Science and Religion merrily coexist. In fact Creationism to a Catholic has nothing to do with the Creation Story it has to do with the formation of the soul. Catholics are encouraged to interperet both genesis and revelation as metaphoric, and the core teaching are in the Gospels, and especially Acts
HOWEVER, when are wxxxish libers going to wake up to the the SCIENTIFIC FACT that an embryo is just as alive and cognitive as it's post-birth counterpart. The Pro-choice view actually stemming from a more mideval viewpoint on respiritory incarnation (that the soul enters the body at first breath), thus stillborns were soulless.
And Science is more evil and abusive than you think. A real opium of the modern age massess. Just think 50 years ago homosexuality was scientifically abnormal, whatever that means. Or all the artifical chemical crap that science puts in our food.
We can also thank Science for the gas chambers used in the Holocaust.
Neither Religion or the Religion that is Science are bad in my opinion. People are just naturally ill-natured.
Why do you presume that Christians do not respect what science has to offer? Just because I CHOOSE to believe that my God made the Heavens and earth, does not mean I do not believe that god would not give man a way to understand some things. Perhaps all things in time. And then again, perhaps what we perceive as accurate science might just be conclusions of never having reached a higher answer.I respect science, moreover a brilliant mind. There are so few of them in the world today.
You mean the ones that leave evolution in the garbage can? Like the cambrian explosion, 1st and 2nd laws of thermodynamics, biological mutations, the origin of information & DNA, the complexity of the cell, spontaneous generation, the fact amino acids don't form naturally to create proteins for life etc? Or do you mean the 'facts' that evolutionists have created that have been exposed as hoaxes to support their faith? ie piltdown man, nebraska man, java man?

There is nothing about modern science that denies Christian faith. I recommend the book "Case for a Creator" by Lee Strobel.

Hey, I just discovered that Lee Strobel has a cool website with lots of videos.

I bet you ignore this fact: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THIS COMPLEX AND BEAUTIFUL CREATION TO HAVE BUMPED ITSELF INTO BEING.
Good luck with this question!!
A Christian must be open-minded, thanks.
