Cold sore cream states “don’t put up nose” so I go and put it up my nose like a numpty. Will anything happen?

I have a cold sore inside my nose. I got some Zovirax and put it inside of my nose, then read in capital letters (don’t put up nose). Any idea what I should do and why it says don’t put up nose?
