my Girlfriend just moved away across the country, I want to know the do’s and don’ts of a long distance relationship? BEST ANSWER' REWARD?

We both decided that since I’m 17 and she’s 16 it will only be another year until I can visit her so we can keep a relationship until then. I just want to know how to do this right so I don’t lose her, I love her a lot and I fear losing her more than anything else in the world. Please help!!! don't want this to end

In most cases I would say forget about her and find some girl locally. I have had those crushes so I know how hard you can fall for someone at 17. However, that is such a time of change in life (at least the next two to three years are) that the likelihood is she is going to find someone else. Sorry just being honest. There is one way and that is if you two remained close friends or whatever and you moved to attend a college near her. I know of a case where this worked out.
