It's funny how people constantly try to prove the bible as inaccurate, insisting that there are typos. Yet people somehow continue to rely on science and so-called "facts" given by men. For years scientist said pluto was a planet now it's suddenly not. History books are full of inaccurate information, like the famous mistake of people saying christopher columbus discovered america, which he did not. Science is constantly contradicting itself. People might say the bible is man written and apychropal, but no one has been able to prove the prophecies written in it to be wrong. So far all of it's true. Otherwise their wouldn't be specials on the history channel connecting bible written prophecies to the real life events of the past and present.
Matthew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place.
Are not all of these things happening right now? Or was what happened to Haiti and Chile just a coincidence? Who could've predicted that 2000 years ago, unless it truly came from the holy spirit
The bible doesn't have typos. There are very few errors, and its proven by archeologists that even over 2000 yrs of constant translations the bible is still 99.9% accurate to the original text. We know this, because we do have original scriptures, called the Dead Sea Scrolls, containing most of the Old Testemate.
The few typos are usually by the original scribes, and often times only numbers. For example, one time it says 4,000 when it is supposed to say 40,000. Nothing more than missing an 0.
Your argument shows a lack of knowledge in the ancient texts, the practices of textual criticism, translations etc. There are not just hundreds but thousands of early texts in Greek, Coptic etc. and there are spelling errors and typos but by simply comparing the texts you can see the typos or even just looking at the spelling. Sadly for you, there isn't any part of the message of the Bible that hasn't been shown reliable.
IF we can show you the Bible is reliable would you be willing to give up on your rants and become a Christian? I really doubt it, you will just go on looking for more excuses because you want to put yourself ahead of anything else in your life.
Prof. Daniel B. Wallace (wrote the textbook on ancient Greek & Greek translation) in an interview in the book "The Case for the Real Jesus" says "It's disturbing that when it comes to the Christian faith, people don't really want, or know how, to investigate the evidence" and you just don't seem to want to know but here is something if you ever want to get out of the dark.

The Holy Spirit guides us to the Truth. Also, you said it yourself. The Bible, God's word, has been around for over 2,000 years. God's Truth lasts the test of times. No other book of any other religion has lasted that long. Man's books are just words and fade away with the times. God's word is eternal and does not die, ever.
Reminds me of a joke I read about and old pope who gets to heaven. In heaven he is allowed to look over the original copies of scripture in the heavenly library. Some other heaven dwellers passing on the street suddenly heard a wailing and and crying and they rushed in and found the old pope in a fetal position weeping and crying "Celebrate, the word was Celebrate."
Due to the manuscript evidence, if what we know about the veracity of scripture is wrong then everything we know about history is wrong as well. at least until the advent of the printing press and probably well into the 18th century.
it doesn't matter what christians believe in....its not like most really follow anyway.....most christians just listen to the church rather than read the bible themselves....weird.
.but..but Christians KNOW that didn't happen because I gave them books full of hearsay in the middle of an obscure part of the desert thousands of years ago. If that is not evidence, I don't know what is.

Otherwise, the bible is completely error free.

most bibles do have errors in them, but they are NOT by mistake. it's from people wanting to mislead others.
such as this bible verse psalms 83:18
Let them know that you, whose name is the LORD--that you alone are the Most High over all the earth.
here's one that has been changed obviously. it speaks of a name, but yet it says lord. as we all know lord is a title not a name.
here's what it should look like.
that people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah you alone are the most high over all the earth.
so you pick, most will deny me, but i say it is quite obvious which one is right.
