Yes, they appear to be focusing on the opponents, as that seems the most politically profitable route to take. I thought it was deliberately paranoid when they accused Obama of calling Palin a pig. He meant no such thing, he was talking about the issues when he made his "lipstick on a pig" remark. How can the Republicans be so under-handed, and how can they think the people are so stupid?

Because alot of people that are supporting Obama have no clue (like the rest of us) what he really stands for, what he's going to change, and how he's going to pay for all the changes he hasn't clued us in on yet. How may questions on here have you seen saying stupid stuff like "Don't you think Obama is sexy"? "don't you think Obama is just wonderful?". That's why.
