The House passed and presented to the senate 4 different options. The senate, under the leadership of "Pinky" Reid refused to vote on them. Just sat on their collective @55es and let the shut down happen. Now, How did the Republicans cause this? Even before the shut down OweBlamer and "Pinky" were openly stating that they refused to compromise! Again, How did Reps cause this?

Obama delayed large parts of it all by himself which he had NO RIGHT to do. If part of it is delayed, it should be all delayed by Congress, not by the wave of Obama's hand. That is not how government has ever or was ever meant to function. He is NOT A DICTATOR. We have a representative government.
