I hate when people throw around the label "friendzoned", until both parties agree they are more, then both are friends, hence "frienzoned.

So to answer the question, yes you are her friend at this point, it's not a bad thing, it's just reality. When a girl says "awww" it depends on the context of what she is saying "aww" to lol! Most times a girl will say "awww" when given a compliment, which means shes flattered by it, possibly even flustered and doesn't know what else to say in response.

In your case when you said "Im too skinny to get one", and she replied with "awww", it's meant that she feels bad that you think that way, she doesn't want you to feel down on yourself for thinking you are too skinny, hence her reaction. In that context, she was not giving off any indication that she is interested in anything more than friendship.

I don't know her, nor do I know the dynamics between you, so I can't really give you an indepth assessement, sorry, but I can't work with something unless I'm given something to work with, and unfortunanetly you have failed to disclose key details.

My advice would be this- If you are into her, go for it, don't hold back! Have the courage to ask her out on a date, really, you have nothing to lose here! Either she agrees to go on a date and it can blossom into more than friends or she says "sorry, not interested", and you guys remain friends, its win-win.
