My best friend for a very long time is in the air force, and after a 6 month stint overseas, is going to be stationed in Germany for a couple years, and has offered an olive branch for me to go stay with her for about 9 months to a year. One of my other good friends that I met via the student exchange program lives in Nordby, Denmark, on the Island of Fanø. I would really appreciate if someone could tell me how long of a flight it would be to fly there, or if possibly there's a train route that went from Berlin to Nordby, so I can go see my friend, and travel Europe. Thanks.

I did a quick search for you, and have not been able to find any direct flights Berlin-Esbjerg. Your best plane options would probably be Berlin-Billund, which usually has better connections, where you would still have to transit over Amsterdam or Oslo. This trip takes approx. 3 hours and then if your friend comes to pick you up it will take approx. 1 hour 15 minutes to get to Fanø, including the ferry journey, and all depending on where your friend lives on Fanø. Add check-in times etc. to that, and you'll probably be looking at 5-6 hours all in all.
Another option would be the train. This would take 6 - 7 1/2 hours from Berlin to Esbjerg, and another 20 minutes by car and ferry to Fanø, again all depending on where your friend lives on Fanø.
If you drive yourself it should take around 6 1/2 hours provided everything goes smoothly and there aren't any queues.
But in general, the internet is your friend. You can find all the information you need by doing a quick search. :)
