What does the surname Hünnink mean in Low German?

I have an ancestor with the surname Hünnink from Bocholt, Germany. Some say that the suffix "ink" means "son of" in Low German and others say that Hünnink must have been the name of a farm that my ancestor was married on. If it does mean "son of", then would it be "Son of Hünno" or "Son of Hüno"? I did read, albeit on a family crest website, that the surname Brunink (which looks similar to Hünnink) could be a variant of Brüning, which itself is a variant of Bruno. If this is the case does Hünno mean Hun (as in Attila and the Huns that invaded Europe and the Holy Roman Empire)? The German word for Hun is "Hunne". It does not contain the "ü" but it is close in spelling. Was my ancestor actually descended from Huns and not Germans? Could it also be a variant of Hünning? There is a small town in Schleswig-Holstein that is named Hünning.
