My mother has been in a deep depression ever since she lost an audition to this woman 30 years ago. So I find it deeply offensive and appalling that so many of you are glorifying her when you don't have a damn clue what you're talking about.

I find it deeply appalling and offensive how you rebuff people's emotions and true sadness over losing an icon. Yeah there are people who die in this BS war every day. Society knows this, we don't know who these people are personally because they aren't in the public eye. Its not because they're not important. So chill the **** out. All of you. Focus on the important things, not the petty.
Anyone who is depressed for 30 years over ANYONE has mental problems, that need to be addressed by a Doctor. We're not all like your mother.
seems like someone has held a grudge but you cant be unsympathetic to ones death. im sorry that your mom fell into a depression and no one was able to help. but its the usual when a celebrity dies they start talking about it everywhere. if it bothers you all so much just stay off the internet tv etc.
