On December 13 th I got my first script from my pain medication doctor. It was for 90 tablets. 3 per day. My next appointment was January 10th and no one told me I had to bring the extra tablets with me to my appointment for a count. They still have me my script for 90 that day, on the 10th, which I filled on the 10th and took my extras from the previous month to a Walgreens drop off box to keep all the counting simpler. So I started my new script of 90 on the 10th, and this month my appointment is on the 7th. If I take my first dose before my appointment that morning, how many tablets should I have left out of 90? Will award best answer.
Ps.. I have a broken tailbone, damaged nerves and herniated disc from a huge fall I had while climbing. Thanks!!

Honey, we don't know what the dosage is. How often are you supposed to take the pills? What's the upper limit per day?
For example, if you've been told that you should take no more than 2 pills per day and you started the new scrip on the 10th, then by the 7th of February (that is, through the 6th), you should have taken no more than 56 pills. If you can take up to 3 a day, you should have taken no more than 84 pills. In either case, you can probably add one or two more for the morning of the 7th, before you see the doctor again.
Just sit down with a calendar, count the number of days from the 10th to the morning of the 7th, and multiply that number by the number of the pills you are not supposed to exceed per day.
