Okay, so I'm not a kid who 'thinks' they're in love with someone from school.... Im a 32 year old woman, I have kids (with my ex husband) and I met someone a few weeks ago and we are both literally besotted with each other. Crazily so! It's a little scary because I never believed love at first sight (or pretty close to) was possible. Now, i'm not a lonely person desperate for love, I have friends, I work, I go out and I socialise etc..
We spent the weekend together (kids were visiting their dad) and we've literally fallen head over heels for each other and I'm a little scared but SO excited. I feel like I've known him forever. I know what love feels like but this feels like so much more. I know I cant right now because of my family but I just want to tell EVERYONE that I feel like this is the right person for me. I obviously wont right now but it's how I feel. I know it sounds crazy, it feels crazy but I just wondered if anyone else has any positive stories like this to share?
Thanks :)

I went on one date with the man who became my husband ( I thought he'd be a "fling" of a sort I'd never had --purely sexual-- and estimated would last 3-5 weeks), and never dated anyone else again. I kept him a secret at first because I didn't actually know him very well... but... he WAS "it" for me, ultimately and we're going on 36 years now. You've reasons to keep this under your hat for awhile yet though. Plus, he's not met your kids. You'd want to see how he interacts with THEM for a year before declaring he's moving in... wouldn't you? I'd think that the absolute minimum requirement.
Good for you Amy! You write well and did a great job of describing how you feel. I'm happy for you and it's clear you're truly, madly and deeply in love.
It's normal to feel apprehensive and excited at the same time. This also happened to me when I fell in love. It's a great feeling and a person definitely knows when they're in love.
Congratulations!
+10 points for using besotted in a sentence. :D
It's easy to fall in love with someone right away, keeping it going when the endorphins wear off is the true test.
Yes, I fell in love within the first couple weeks of meeting her and told her so. 6 years later we're still together but we really work on our communication and respect for each other. There's always going to be the ups and downs after the initial euphoria is gone.
Congrats to you!
