That mesma the tank is already 20c só instead of putting the heater on to 25 if thats what i want i dont need to turn the heater on to 25c just turn it up from 0 to 5c to vive me the 25c só im only using 5c of power on the heater
What I mean is if the room is warm, you can get away with less heater power.
Either way you set the heater to 25C, and it runs until the water gets warm enough, then automatically turns off. As the water only needs to warm up by 5C, you don't need as much power.
If the room was only 10C, a low powered heater might never get (or keep) the tank up to temp, and you would need a more powerful heater. 200-300w?
I'm not sure what that said exactly. If your room temperature is 20C and you want your aquarium temperature to be 25C then you must turn the aquarium heater to the 25C temperature setting.
