I do not know how to find the function of something that is not a graph, and even if i got this problem in graph form, the possible answers are:
a) x≥4; h(x)≥0
b) x>4; 0<h(x)>4
c) x=4;h(x)=0
d) 0≤ x ≤4; h(x)>4
e) 16≥x≥4; h(x)<0
If I had to guess i would say the answer is B but i dont have alot of reasoning behind my choice.
Feel free to explain how i would figure this out also.
Thanks so much to anyone who can work this problem!

A good lecture: http://www.freemathhelp.com/domain-range.html
The domain of a function refers to the set of values x can take. In this case, we need that the expression under the sqrt sign must be > or equal ZERO, to avoid negative values that makes imaginary numbers when taking the square root.
Then, the domain of h(x) will be 4x - 16 ⥠0, so x ⥠4
Now for x ⥠4, h(x) starts at ZERO and goes to infinity, then the range of h(x) x ⥠0
