transfer your Pokémon from the 5th Generation games?
I heard a rumor this is going to be true. If so, that'll be really cool using Gen 3 Pokémon in 6. And wouldn't this be assumed, considering many people got angry after the block-off from Generation 2 and 3?

The only reason you couldn't transfer from generation 2 to 3 was because of major changes in Pokemon unless the do a major redo of stats like in generation 3 you will transfer remember Pokemon is doing this for money there is no money in not allowing a transfer
No because it is like two different technologies, like you can have gen 3 Pokemon on gen 5. But, you probably will be able to transfer gen 5 Pokemon to gen 6.
