first you would have to re-write the problem.. y = (tan2x)^2
then y ' = 1/2(tan2x)
use the chain rule...
u=2x
du/dx = 2
y=tanu
y ' = sec^2 u(du/dx)
then plug in ..
y ' = sec^2 (2x) (2)
y ' = 2sec^2 (2x) <---answer
