From a girl who loves romance I say that being romantic doesn't make a man "weak" a strong man can show his girl his affection & how much he cares 4 her without losing his masculinity/dignity. It's actually more romantic when a man who is "strong" steps up 2 show his girl how special he thinks she really is

Being "weak" isn't summed up as how much a man shows his emotion so much as letting people run over him & change his morals 2 people please. 2 me, that's weakness, not showing the ones u care about just how much u care. It takes a strong man 2 put others b4 himself 2 make them feel special

I don't think that at all. I know a bunch of guys who have heart and will stand up for themselves, but they may not portray the macho "I think i'm a bad a**" persona and maybe that's why. But then again, I also know guys like this too. I think you've just ran into a couple chicks like that. I can assure you that this is not the case for all black women and many women actually view the more laid-back guy as a breath of fresh air. Less drama.
