Perhaps it would have been better if you had emphasized "GOD's Son," as it seems apparent that the obvious is lost on most of the answers so far.
What did Jesus himself say at John 3:16 [KJV]?
"For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son..."
Who gave his only begotten Son?
GOD, I repeat, G O D, not "God the Father," but G O D.
Is there anywhere there where it could be concluded that Jesus thought HE himself was God? No, he distinctly referred to himself as GOD's Son.
Who did Jesus say that God was, at John 20:17 [NRSVCE]?
"Jesus said to her, “Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
Yes, Jesus there said that his God and our God is his Father, that his Father is both HIS God and our God.
Is there anywhere in Scripture where the Father calls Jesus "my God"?
No, indeed, at Matthew 27:46 it is Jesus himself who uses those words while on the torture stake.
Contrast that to God's words when speaking from heaven upon Jesus' baptism, at Matthew 3:17 [NASB]:
"and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased.”
Nowhere in Scripture does Jesus ever call himself God whereas, by contrast, note what God himself says at Exodus 20:2,3 [ASV]:
"I am Jehovah thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
Yes, God there says exactly who he is, [Jehovah] and refers to himself as "I" and "me."
Is there anywhere in that passage of scripture where one could infer or reason that God is triune? No, it doesn't say, "We, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit," does it?
Unfortunately, by insisting that Jesus himself is God, trinity believers necessarily imply that Jesus is his own Father.
A typical JW question that does nothing to advance the understanding of Jesus or God.
Irrespective of whether Jesus was God or Michael, we must agree that His status, authority, glory, knowledge, power, etc were severely restricted as a man compared to His preincarnate state. It's a fact that is the only rational explanation for Him being "lower than the angels"
So the question is "In what sense does Jesus being the Son of God, a title used for His earthly role, mean He can't be God in the heavenly realm?" You'll find whatever answer you try to concoct will also rule him out of being the Archangel too.
.. and here's the point........
So for all those confused JWs here's some basic lessons....
When we are born we have two parents.. a mother who provides the egg and a father that provides the sperm to fertilize the egg.
So when Adam and Eve were made who were their parents? Well done if you answered they didn't have any which is why the bible never says they do!
So when Jesus the man was born, how did it work? Well we know Mary provided the seed which makes her Jesus mother... but who provided the sperm to fertilize the egg... that's right God the Father. Note the bible makes it clear that in a sense God is the Father of us all but in a real physical sense He was only Father to Jesus.
... and that's why Jesus is call the Son and His Father is called the Father.
God does not have a literal wife with whom he fathered children. He is the Creator of all life. Humans were created with the capacity to imitate God’s qualities. That is why the first human that God created, Adam, is called a “son of God.” Similarly, Jesus is called “the Son of God” because he was created with qualities like those of his Father.—Read Luke 3:38; John 1:14, 49.
Before he was born in Bethlehem, Jesus lived as a spirit creature in heaven. When the time came, God transferred Jesus’ life from heaven to Mary’s womb so that he could be born as a human.—Read Luke 1:30-32; John 6:38; 8:23.
Trinitarian Christians (99% of all who call themselves Christian) have been saying that Jesus is God since the Apostle Thomas said to Jesus, "My Lord and my God!"
To which Jesus clearly agreed and answered, “Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.” (John 20:28-29)
And John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." and John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth."
The Nicene Creed (from the year 325) talks about the nature of Jesus Christ:
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made. For us and our salvation He came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit, He was born of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again in fulfillment of the scriptures: He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
There are two words in Hebrew for son: Bar and Ben. Ben being the literal son of someone and bar being a tittle (adoptive) - you will need to read the Hebrew / Greek translation of the bible in order to identify why

The inanity of such a notion speaks for itself.

Simples....

With love in Christ.
CREATOR FATHER is GOD
1. Jesus is the son of man;
2. Christ(WORD)is the Son of God.
3. Christ lived in Jesus as Christ can live in us.

Why was Timothy called Paul's son? Same reason.
Because he's the son of God
It should be self explanatory. He is God, manifest.

That's the way the script was written. They copied it from the Greeks and Sumarians and of course, the Pagans..
So silly then. Even sillier now..
Begotten, yes!
