? Is it because they want to feel superior, more intelligent or just a pain in the ass. When I was at university many years ago 50% of the pupils were bad spellers. But in spite of the crime of being a bad speller still got their degrees.
I do not judge people by their spelling bad or good, but try answering their questions
Update:Kristen. Thank you for a sensible answer, I will remember your comments. At 81 years old my, memory plays tricks on me.

It kind of is because they want to feel superior. People naturally and unconsciously compete with others. Girls want to be the prettiest, the most popular, while guys want to be the most ripped, or good at sports. It's just how the human brain works, when someone makes a mistake, we naturally correct them, the feeling of superiority might be felt by some people and they correct you, trying to prove that they are smarter than you (and to be a jerk) but some just correct you out of habit, the don't mean anything by it. I know that when someone says something that it grammatically incorrect, I automatically correct them. It might be because I live in a family where my parents are always correcting my grammar, so it's habit. But people just do it no matter what, whether it's to be an a** and prove superiority or out of habit. Don't let it get to you, you might find yourself correcting someone at some point sooner or later.
I am 49 years old, and I know how to spell almost everything. That is because I got a proper education. Young adults today can't spell worth nothing. Their grammer skills also have much to be desired for. I hate to see how literate our president will be in 10-15 years from now.
It's because you're posting your question in the Words&Wordplay category...
What would you expect? Ignore your inability to spell simple words correctly so you don't appear to be an illiterate retard next time you post something? We're just trying to help.
No, its cuz too many times the poor spelling throws the meaning of the question off entirely, whereas the question, as written, really means or says nothing....many instances where spelling and syntax are corrected, it is obviously being corrected by psychics.
You should never have an question mark before a sentence. Also, you forgot a period in the last sentence.
People feel the need to give negative comments so it's basically stupidity.
Spell-check worked for your question, but your grammar is miserable.
