Completely factor the following expression:
81x2 – 198xy + 121y2
(9x - 11y)(9x - 11y) = (9x - 11y)^2
81x2 - 198xy + 121y2
first you do exponent (which im assuming because the 2 is after the y)
then multiply so you get 162 - 198xy + 121y2
thats as far as i can get unless i know what the variables are
Use the formula,
(a-b)^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab
Here, a = 9x and b = 11y. Thus, the expression is:
(9x)^2 + (11y)^2 - 2(9x)(11y)
or (9x - 11y)^2
(9x - 11y)(9x - 11y)
(9x-11y)^2 or (9x-11y)(9x-11y)
