Why is Boehner now saying not raising the debt ceiling would put the nation in “an awful lot of jeopardy.”?
He is trying to bully the President into doing what they want.He stated before the dems were making the raising of the debt ceiling into a fear tactic. He also stated if they didnt raise the debt ceiling it wouldnt cause an awful lot of jeopardy.I say they are trying fear again to get what they want.

The Tea Party and the GOP said they would vote to raise it back in March, they are just buying time to get what they want and don't care how it hurts America doing it.
