I need a new graphics card that is able to fit into PCI-E 2.0 (x16)
I would like it to play Crysis,Fallout3 and Farcry (the top games basically)

I have had a look around and the best Card i have found for £150 is, 1GB Gigabyte 9800 GTX+.

That's pretty good. That's enough to get you a Radeon 4870, or a GeForce GTX 260. (Nvidia GeForce is likely to be faster in Crysis.)
On the other hand, the video card isn't the only factor. If your CPU is too slow, then there's no point in spending that much on the video card.
Ideally you already have a good dual core (or quad core) processor running at 2.5 or 2.6 GHz (per core), or higher, so your games won't be CPU limited. (The best CPU for gaming continues to be an Intel Core 2 Duo at a higher clock speed, rather than any AMD processor, or a quad core at a comparatively lower clock speed.)
Secondly, the Radeon 4870 and GeForce GTX 260 cards require a power supply with two 6-pin PCI-E connectors and 32A-36A combined on the +12V rails. (Read the specifications label on your power supply.) Even if you already have a pretty good power supply, you may need to upgrade to an even larger and better one.
