What would be the cost of 27 – 2 by 8’s – each 14 feet long, if the price of the lumber is $400.00 per thousand board feet? .....i couldnt fit the whole question in the ask box lol.....also how would i calculate this myself?

2 * 8 * 14(12) = 2688 in^3 of 2 x 8s. A board ft is 1 * 1 * 12 = 12 in^3 so we have 2688/12 = 224 board feet of lumber being bought. It costs $400/1000 board foot. so 224 (400/1000) = $89.60
