I've had this happen. I decided that it means she needs help, and she has totally alienated everybody else she knows. I suspect she thinks you are sucker enough, to be taken one more time! It sounds like a complement, but it really is NOT!
It means that she doesn't know anyone else who's more qualified, trustworthy and sympathetic than you to help talk her off the ledge. You're #1 in her book! So it's quite a compliment, since it puts you at the top of her list of friends!
