I´m from the USA (from Florida), and I have Irish ancestry, but I am not attracted to white American guys. Would a Mexican guy be interested in someone like me, or do they prefer women of their own culture?

I mean no offense to anyone! I just don´t identify with American culture and the thought of settling down in the USA makes me feel disheartened.

It seems like humans have a tendency to marry ´´their own kind´´ and I would be looked upon as weird. Every time I see a couple, both always appear to be from the same culture and I have never

heard of a Mexican guy dating or marrying someone like me, a woman from the USA. They always seem to want latina girls.

I mean no offense to anyone but I feel so embarrassed about being an American. You don´t see beautiful movie stars who are white, American women... even in USA, they´re all of latin roots. I don´t think that anyone could ever look upon an American woman as desirable or attractive, even though it would be amazing if they did. My nationality makes me feel undesirable and ugly.

USA is thought of as the land of opportunity but I feel like I would have had more opportunities if my ancestors had just stayed PUT (I would have been European).

I know I would be a great girlfriend, but I don´t think anyone would ever give me a chance. it seems that in most societies, the unwritten rule dictates that you marry your own kind.

I´ve studied abroad and taught EFL in Mexico and Spain and my absolute dream would be to live in one of those countries forever. I would NOT marry someone just as a means to an end, I´m just saying my heart is in Latin culture.
