What would be a funny (but not cruel) April Fool´s joke?
i know that it´s a little early for April Fool´s Day but it´s never to early to plan ahead!!
I´m a girl, 29, teaching EFL in mexico right now, and my mom and dad are in the USA. For some reason April Fool´s Day crossed my mind recently and I was thinking of good ideas for a joke. Nothing mean or sadistic... my parents are already worried about me (the town where I am is safe, they´re just PARENTS). Thanks!
Update:I am in Queretaro and it´s one of the safest cities in Latin America... millions of North americans are here!! I´m totally safe.
i do NOT wanna go back to North carolina... that place was so depressing. Yuck. I love it here.
I don´t wanna freak them out, just do something funny. It doesn´t have to do with being in Mexico.

If your parents are concerned, thats because they care about your safety and Mexico is one place where people have dissapeared without a trace. The only thing I can think of would to be is to be outside their door and have a friend call and tell them that nobody can find you, get them frantic and knock on their door. Anything you do would seem cruel if they are concerned, but they will be happy that you are home safe with them.
