Should I go to tutoring? ?
I’m taking principles of biology in college and i don’t understand ANYTHING. My main language is spanish so it’s very hard for me to understand the terms in another language that i’m not used to. I was thinking of going to tutoring but i don’t even know what to ask or even tell them what I don’t understand (like i mentioned above, i don’t understand anything). I feel like they’ll laugh at me or ridicule me or something. I don’t understand why I don’t get it. I’ve never been to a tutor though so i don’t know how that works. I really want to understand it though. It seems like it would be so interesting if I actually were to understand it.

Yes. Tutors don’t ridicule or laugh at you. They help you to learn whatever you need help with.
Principles of Biology is an introductory course. It should be very interesting. That doesn’t mean you won’t have to study a lot. A tutor will help you to study effectively so that you make the most of your time.
A GOOD tutor will ask YOU questions to determine what you do and do not understand. Bring your textbook, so they can see what the material is that you are supposed to be learning.
