Hi everyone! I'm a "gori" so don't know much. I wanted to get something for his mom and sister (and her baby), I already met them when they came overseas to visit and really like them and they are always sending back gifts to me. Is it common to give gifts during Ramadan, or eid gifts? If so, does anyone have suggestions of what would be a good gift? The sister lives in Dubai and the mom lives in Islamabad. I'd like to keep it under $50/each.

Salam It is not mandatory If you want to give a gift during Ramadan to your fiance's family you can give foods or drink which they like for iftar or in the form of clothes or sandals for prayer on Iedl Fitri day.
Awh haha that is so cute! Yes get them gifts for Eid..for the sister maybe perfume or a purse or something and for the mom a nice shawl maybe?
buy them something that suit them
gifts never were about their prices rather than meanings
i guess a sweet gift will make me happier than a meaningless expensive gift ..
