I just received my bachelors and I’d like to join the air national guard or Air Force reserves now. I’m kind of confused on the matter of TA. I’d like to go school full time again once I join and try to get a second bachelors or associates degree in dental hygiene but I read that TA can’t be used to get a lower degree than you already have, like I’d only be able to use it for a masters degree or upper degree. Is this true? Also, does anyone know what TA is for South Carolina? I keep seeing conflicting things saying $4,500 per year then some say $4,500 per semester.

Depends on the state for ANG. You are not going to be getting another undergrad degree since you already have one.
The reserves GI Bill is different than the post 911 Bill for active duty. It’s at best, a small stipend monthly. Not nearly enough to cover tuition full time.
TA is always $4500 per year
