Is 背ける just a shortening of 背を向ける or are they different entirely?
i have seen the first described as meaning ''to turn ones face away; to avert the eyes'' and ive seen the 2nd described as to turn one's back on. so are they similar or different? they are written so similarly but the translations ive seen are pretty contrasting.
also, what does 人懐っこい mean and is it positive or negative?
is oozappa a positive or negative word as well? what i mean is, do they have positive or negative connotations/are they insulting or neutral or complimenting? thanks.

背ける（そむける）And 背を向ける（せをむける）Are very similar. It doesn't help when the Kanji for back are included in both!
背けるI use to say shy away from something or to avert away. Say for example
顔を背ける
かおをそむける
Means to shy your face away.
Maybe think of it as ”To ’Back" away from.
Where as 背を向ける I find means more to go completely against or turn around.
It translates in English literally as "to show your back" so this verb can also mean to go against norm. It can also mean to not have care for.
社会に背を向けた
しゃかいにせをむけた
Turned my back on society -> Not to care for society (norms)
人懐っこい hitonatsukkoi means someone that can be easily befriended. Someone that anyone can like. It is generally positive word.
彼は人懐っこい性格を持ってます。
かれはひとなつっこいせいかくをもってます。
He has a personality that anyone will like. (lit)
おおざっぱ（大雑把）means to think grandiose but to miss the details or small things. That might sound weird. For example, someone talking about getting world peace, but not talking about how to achieve that. Kinda like someone have goals to do something, but doesn't think of the things that person has to do to get to that goal. This word is generally negative, and not complementing.
