Is feminism nothing but just a “payback time” mentality?
When presented with arguments such as how feminist' laws are for the disadvantage of men feminists just shrug and say the Patriarchy used to oppress women.
Feminism is the act of insecurities deriving from the lack of estrogen. I mentioned this today in another post. Women that think they need to rule over men forgot their natural place in the order of things.
I would like to see a women go hand to hand combat with men on the battle front. They would not stand a very good chance. Leave the brutal things to the men that were created for the primary function of tilling the land, hunting for food, and chasing after women in distress.
Men were created for this purpose. Women were created to bear children and to care for the home front. We have totally feminized men all for what? Between this and being "PC - Politically Correct" we have in essence taken the role of the man away and have tried to instill his duty as a female.
This world by creation was designed intelligently for justice, or in other words, a balance such as Yin and Yang. We need each other. We are off balance when one is without the other. So women...take your feminism and shove it. It you can't see men need us and we need men then you do not deserve a platform at all.
Funny thing is there is no actual evidence of a "patriarchal" conspiracy to repress women. It's basically just a gyno-centric religion. The patriarchy is a delusional paranoid construct perpetuated by fringe radicals in positions of power in our colleges. It's ironic that feminists think men have it so great, what with the obscene number of men who have died in war, and the fact we can't just settle down & marry up & have kids -- we have to work our whole lives unless we want to end up bums that nobody cares about and everyone looks down on. Women make less money than men because they don't work as hard and don't negotiate their true value as well -- they have no motivation to, they can get a man to do this for them. I don't even want to get into the more nuanced, complicated stuff because feminists never understand it anyway, they just think I'm a misogynist when I present facts based on scientific research that do not correlate with their ideological narcissistic worldview.
It's an undeniable form of bigotry and it's condoned in English-speaking countries.
As I recall, it never was called "The Patriarchy," but rather "The Monarchy," and they oppressed the sheet out of everyone who was not of their class.
One day in the not-too-distant future, before archaeologists and anthropologists study our once-great civilization (now I'm beginning to question just how great we were), historians will look back on what we did to destroy the fabric of our society and connect the dots as to how easy it was for the Nazis to do what they did.
Ummmmm - just look in the dictionary. A feminist is defined as someone who works toward achieving the social, economic, and political equality of the sexes. By that definition, men can be feminists, and not all women are feminists. Typically, the main rights most feminists have fought to achieve in the past (and ongoing in some parts of the world) are rights to vote, initiate divorce and retain custody of children in case of divorce, own property, inherit, have their own bank account, and drive.
Most people in general in the US these days are feminists.
This question represents a bit of a generation gap in how people think. I was born in the old days, and raised by a single mom feminist. My mom was the first one on my block to have a divorce. Gender discrimination then was institutionally entrenched, and blatant. People from my generation tend to see affirmative action as a way of making amends and bringing women up to speed in our modern, equal society.
My kids are around 20 years old, both are girls. They were raised in a time of institutional equality. There is still a gender gap in terms of higher level jobs and salaries, but most gender discrimination is gone, or gone underground. They tend to see affirmative action as discriminatory, and giving women, and other equity seeking groups, an unfair advantage.
When incomes are evenly distributed between the genders, and when a person's race does not influence their employment and educational opportunities, then we will have come to the time when we no longer need to make an effort to give people an equal opportunity. We aren't there yet.

@Dior - "fare" share!!! LOL!!!!
Anyway...feminism does not give a crap about men in any way. They really just like men who are "on board" with their guilt-tripping feminization.
Judging by it's actions - yes.
