I don't think there is a sole position that is ideal.
PG- Magic
SG- Jordan
SF - Bird
PF - Duncan
C - Hakeem
You can take ANY one of those guys in their prime and you would be better for it.
Wherever he is good at.
CP3, Nash should play PG
Kobe, Wade, Rose should play SG
Durant, Melo should play SF
Garnett, Dirk should play PF
Dwight, Duncan, Bynum should play C
... as an example.
In a perfect world, the best player would be the point guard. That's the floor general, playmaker who handles the ball the most, sets up the plays and his/her team mates.
SF has all the ability, height and talent to do everything on the court but in reality, point guards are the ones that ball hardest
Steve NAsh:PG, Dwide Howard:C, Dwane Wade:PF, Dirk Nowitzki:SG, Lebron James:SF
SG - Michael Jordan
In a perfect world, there might not be a best player, hm?
Big men its all about bangin hard in da paint
chuck norris could play all positions
