Do you know that Ninefinger was Wine Wine U Dirty Skunk, the fake army major? Remember that fake account?
I didn't figure it out til later. I doubted the long time user here who called it, but he got it exactly right. Ninefinger actually fooled me there, so I'll tip my hat to him on that one. If he'd only stuck w/ being smart like that, but then he fell from the sun when he got full of himself. Tsk tsk, Little Nancy! LOL!
Lots of variables because as an LS it is postal and logistics so you can be sea or shore. That means you can deploy a lot or you might not at all. Sea Duty you can be with a squadron, on a ship or a sub (that’s volunteer). With ships/subs you can be deployed 50-80% of the year or you might be on one in shipyard for a long period of time. There are work ups, trainings exercises and deployments so you can be gone a few days, a week, a few weeks, a month, a few months or over 7 months. Long deployments are every 18 months.
Logistics can lead to a lot of jobs after you get out.
you probably live on a ship lol ... deployments are generally 6 month cycles from what ive seen, but theres all kinds of factors that can affect that ...
