I am thinking that hot flash may be what you are looking for. It means a sudden, temporary sensation of heat (usually experienced by some women during menopause or by eating fried foods).
So, I think that it has the meaning of 飲食上火
Fried foods cause an increase in hot flash activity for me.
Thanks to Sour Apple for bringing up the Chinese medicine.
Metabolic temperature is the heat energy generated through all your organ systems from the food -- the fuel -- that you eat and that your digestive system burns.

Some foods, such as tofu or ice cream, produce a characteristic internal coldness. Others, such as ginger or chicken, generate internal heat.

So if you are referring to 食物使人上火, 火氣大, you can state that the food generates internal heat.
Food that generates internal heat.
Hot flash
I hope that I am heading at the right direction.

This article talks about 上火”是中醫學專用名詞。

"Flush-inducing" food sounds to me more like food that would cause flushing (diarrhea).
Shamejudge, you're too funny!
I'm just gonna throw this word out there and see what you guys think---
“ flush”
(flash+gush/blush)
So when talking about some food “上火,”maybe we can say it's "flush-inducing"?
I know it's not perfect. Just a thought.
I'm bursted.
this is it!
您好,
上火 get angry
ex:
He is getting angry

Stomach Heat,Stomach Fire
