If you’ve been taking this painkiller every single month for say a couple of days to a week you’re probably immune to it. Try not taking it for a while then try again, it works sometimes.

I was exactly the same when I was younger and having monthly periods but its as though the body becomes immune to painkillers so try a different brand.

It all depends on when you took it. The trick is to take a painkiller before the pain actually begins. If you take it after the pain has already started it will take longer to get rid of.
