I have been friends with this girl for a year and a half, she’s a nice girl, but I think it might be time to end our friendship. She was cool for the first few couple of months and now she’s in a bunch of drama with ex boyfriends, she smokes a lot now, and sometimes get drunk, which she told me about. All she talks about is her ex boyfriend trying to stalk her, how he threatened to beat her boyfriend, she tells too much of her personal business with anyone in my family and her new boyfriend (who smokes pot and flirts with spanish girls)I don’t like him because he seems like bad news to me. She even told my cousins about her ex boyfriend and her personal business and they told her to stop talking about. She likes my mom a lot as a best friend and even invited her to her boyfriend’s friend party where they are going to get drunk. My mom said that she wouldn’t be friends with and I agree because I don’t think that I would get too buddy buddy with someone elses parents. My mom confronted me about it and said she talks way too much and she goes on about herself, her ex and her new boyfriend. She was supposed to help me unpack, all day, but at night she went out to eat with her bf and then she asked if he could come over and it was late at night too. I felt like she disrespected my mom’s new apartment (we just recently moved). I want to be a friend not an audience that she can perform her drama too and I don’t think that is what friendship is all about.
