Has anyone stayed or have heard of this place before? (La Bastide de Ménerbes) in Menerbes, France?
I am just trying to figure out if anyone has any reviews on this place or if it is legitimate. I have found little information for this place. I would also like to know what people think about the area and if you have any recommendations for day trips. I have contacted the manager and she seems real, however you can't be sure now-a-days.
Also, do you have any other places that you would recommend for around 4-5000 euros a week? around 12-14 people.

I have been to Ménerbes and La Bastide de Ménerbes does exist, though we did not stay there ourselves as we were a much smaller group. You can also see the photos on a different website from those you have posted. They would not be so flamboyant in their advertising if they were not legitimate. It is a lovely area which has been made famous by several writers such as Peter Mayle, Henri Bosco and Jean Giono, but if you want to explore inland Provence rather than a quiet holiday by a pool, you need a car.

If you click on "Entrez" on the website in French and then click on Livre d'Or, you can see handwritten testimonies in English, and the local attractions are also documented if you open each rubric and then click on 'Suivant' at the bottom of each page. It is a very professional website and they certainly have paid a lot of money to set it up.
