How to install windows XP 64 bit on AMD X4
Update:Also I have 64 bit OS CD. I do not know how to direct to boot from CD - even I did first boot priority to CD rom. But it’s not happening… it’s just going aging to hard drive booting.

If you have a copy of x64 it will be pretty simple. Just put the disc in, and make sure you boot from the CD instead of your hard drive (You can't install a 64 bit OS from inside you 32bit XP.)
It is identical to the setup for 32 bit. Just be sure to back up all your settings, save all your stuff, and make a separate hard drive partition if you want to dual boot. It is not recommended to run two operating systems off of the same hardware partition. (You can do it, but if anything goes bad you lose everything.)
Also be aware that 64 bit driver support is not up to par just yet. Most things work just fine but some webcams, scanners, printers, and other peripherals are a little bit goofy.
The AMD X4 natively supports a 64 bit OS. You won't have to do anything special, and basically it will act just like 32 bit Windows. You probably wont notice a single difference unless you have software specially designed for 64 bit.
buy a 64 bit version of windows.
