I think there isn't a way around this that won't stuff up your game. Just click yes and let it update while you can go and do something else for a while. You could even get it to download before going to sleep, make sure the computer is not going to fall asleep and in the morning it will be done. There's just some ideas. The updates are really good by the way. They add new things to the game, particularly in create a Sim. You can change breast size on women , add body hair to men, and change sims fitness , make them ripped or just normal.

So it's worth the wait.
