What is the best way or brand to use to get natural looking ombré hair?
Okay so I have never gotten highlights or dyed my hair before so I have absolutely no experience. My parents are considering letting me do this so if I can I'm wondering what I should use, should I get it professionally done? But that's expensive....
I want this to last a few months but I'm scared that it will turn out really ugly or outrageous looking. I go to a private school so they are pretty strict about natural hair color or at least natural looking. Mainly I just really wanna try something new without going too far :)
I'm 14, (a girl lol) have medium-dark brown hair and like a slightly tan skin tone. And my hair is straight.

Honestly it would be best to get it done professionally. Especially since your unexperienced. You could ruin your hair so pay and get it done. Well the only way to have it look remotely natural would be to just go a little lighter than your hair. It doesn't exactly look natural but you can easily dye it back.
