why is my mum is charging me £20-£25 a week for boarding money, what the heck?
ok my mum is working a part time job at Morrison's, all she thinks about is money and her job is very low paid,in fact i can be paid the same as her and i'm 16 and she's 42.
she asks me about 20-25 pound a week for boarding money, when i only earn 72 pound every week.
my cousin earns £90 and her dad only lets her pay £10
why should i suffer because my mum is financially poor?

Don't you live there too? Don't you eat there? Sleep there? Didn't your mum feed you and love you and take care of you your entire childhood and adolescence? Sometimes parents need help. We don't like to ask our kids but sometimes that's the only option. You should be proud to help and not petty about it. Unless she's spending your wages on drugs or alcohol, I think she's only doing what she has to so you can both survive.

To he honest with you I think your quite lucky I have to pay £40 And that's to keep a roof under my head and eat food, I think its fair i'm sorry to say it's not what you want to hear but your mother is looking after you by feeding you doing washing drying your clothing and keeping a roof under your head. Your getting of lightly that you only have to pay that. Some people have to pay more than me!
If you don't like it try looking for another apartment or house share that's LESS Than £40 a fort night.

perhaps she needs the money to help pay household expenses, since she doesn't make much herself. where else do you think she would get money? don't compare your finances to other people's, that's a recipe for going nuts
