I got trainer ID 65535 in Pokémon Yellow and when I did I couldn't believe my eyes because it is the highest trainer ID number you can get. But again I had to restart a few hundred times to get that number but hey it's legit.

Now I'm trying to get either 00000 or 65535 in Pokémon Red and I probably restarted even more times than in Pokémon Yellow and still have not got either the lowest (00000) or the highest ID number (65535) and I'm trying so hard to get 65535 in Pokémon Red.

So far the lowest ID number I got in Pokémon Red was 00006.

The highest number I got in Pokémon Red was 65509.

Do you think I just got more lucky in Pokémon Yellow that I got 65535 or do you think Pokémon Yellow generates better numbers or has a better random number generator?

Is there a better way to get 00000 or 65535 in Pokémon Red & Blue?
