Okay. So there's this guy, let's refer to him as Bob. And his girlfriend, let's call her Kate. And another guy named Ted, whom I will bring up later in the question. You may have seen this before, but I only got a few answers, and they didn't help much. >.< I'm going to try and keep this as short as possible, but there's a lot to tell, so sorry. :(

Bob and Kate started going out about a week and a half ago. But the thing is, Kate took a week to respond to Bob's offer. Bob waited a week until Kate finally said yes, and he didn't seem to pleased about it. Which makes me think that he already asked her out and he's just stuck with her. That might seem harsh, but please carry on.

Okay, within the week that Kate was 'thinking', me and Bob were spending A LOT of time together. And I got the feeling that he liked me. We would smile at eachother like giddy children, laugh together about everything, watch the clouds and stars, go down to the local lake and feed the ducks. He would buy me dinner when I insisted he hadn't, brought me gifts for no reason, walk to me to my classes, hugs me out of no where, and inches closer to me whenever we're near eachother. We've even gone to a football game together. We just did the smallest things, and made them into the funnest. It felt like we were together. It's so crazy.

He seems so comfortable with me. I feel like ever since I came into the picture, he doesn't care much at all for Kate, but just feels stuck because he's already asked her out. He's not happy. Which is why I'm confused as to why he's with Kate. Kate sent me a text last week talking about this guy Ted. She told me that she liked him, and was blabbering on about how her friend walked home with him and how she was mad because of that. She texted me this while she was dating Bob. I don't understand why he would want to be with a girl who puts him last. She never goes by him, they've kissed maybe once, (not that it matters, but yeah) they don't do anything coupleish together, she basically avoids him, flirts with other guys RIGHT in front of him, and he told me that he's not going to try to talk to her and be with her if she's not going to do the same.

Last night, Bob ditched Kate for me. We hung out all night. Kate was with a group of guys, including himself, and Bob saw me, instantly got up, and decided to stay with me for the rest of the night. It was about 8 PM, so we walked around the city together. We went to the store and got some candy because we felt like it, and went to the local park to hang out. We laughed and took pictures and got really close all night. And he started complaining to me about his girlfriend. I told him that she was going to be angry that he was with me all night. He told me that he didn't care, he had fun, and that being with me was worth it.

There's so much more I could tell, but I'm not going to, I tried to keep it short, but it's pretty long.

So, WHO DOES HE REALLY LIKE? What is going on here? Why is he with HER? I feel like we could be such a better couple...But then I feel if he really liked me, then he'd dump her in a heartbeat. And thinking about that just gets me in the 'I'm just gonna forget about him' mood. please help, I'm so confused...
