What’s the deal with Mexicans and their fear of banks? In my neighborhood, a home invasion netted the robbers $2,000 that the Mexicans victims were using for their next mortgage payment. When I mentioned this to a mexicana friend, she told me she was once robbed of $15,000 that she kept in her apartment. Doesn’t word reach the wabs from their relatives in el Norte that American bank accounts are insured to $100,000?

They are probably ILLEGAL,and therefore afraid they will get CAUGHT!!! Also,if they don't put it in the bank, HOW will uncle Sam know exactly how much they made???
The reason why most of Latin Americans in the US dont used the banks is because they dont have legal documents, and although they are paying the dam taxes (which they are not getting anything back ..by the way) and doing most of the dirty jobs...they are just afraid that they would be question and kicked out....
Now...who is gonna feed their children back home??
That becomes reportable income at that point....and according to TIME magazine, they showcased quite a few illegal Mexicans being paid cash......would kinda blow their cover......and ya wont see too many bleeding heart liberals answering this question...its a bad chess game for the illegals........
They are all illegals and have no Social Security numbers and no other legal documentation so banks are out and mattresses are in.
