Ya sounds easy I know. I followed PEMDAS and got 1. But a ton of people got 9. I did 1+2=3 then 3×2=6 then 6÷6=1. But some people are saying its 9: they did 1+2=3, then 6÷2=3, then 3×3=9. I just really really need to know the correct answer, like my OCD is kicking in and I need to mnow lol

The awnser is 1 (1plus2=3) then take the 3 and add the 2 from the dividing part and you get 5 divided by 6 is 1
6/2(1+2)
1. (1+2)= 3
2. 6/2 (3)
3. 6/2= 3
4.3(3)= 9
9 is your answer
the MD in PEMDAS means multiplication and didvision from left to right. since you have a division fist before the multiplication, you do all division, then work on towards your multiplications.
6/2(1+2)
6/2(3)
3(3)
9
It's 9.
You divide. That's 3
You Add, that's 3
And the parenthesis means you multiply.
3x3=9
It's 9. you divide 6 into 2 which is three, then distribute it to the numbers inside the parentheses, then equaling to 9.
Always text your instinct, but google said the answer is 9.
I got 5 LOL
