This co worker shouldn't be bossing you around because this person isn't your boss, you don't have to listen to him. He thinks he's the boss because he's probably been there longer then you and knows more about what's going on. When he doesn't know half as much as the manager does. Assert your self a bit more. Tell your co worker that he isn't your boss, you don't have to do what he says.
If it continues talk to the manager about your bossy co worker.
Unless that other coworker got promoted to a higher rank, he has no right to boss others around as if he is the manager. He was just telling you to stand up for yourself.
